our story

Ika and Molly met in Paris in 1998 at L’Ecole Ferrandi cooking school and it’s been a travelling love story ever since. From Paris to Tel Aviv to the North of Israel, USA and Antwerp their travels have brought them unique experiences. They opened the Gault-Millau and Michelin rated Lamalo Restaurant in 2002 and forged their reputation for high-quality middle eastern cuisine with a modern twist. In 2020 they opened Shuk to bring their take on the street food of the markets of Tel Aviv and Jerusalem to Antwerp.
